MedPlug is a Black woman-owned small business that provides PTCB-approved training courses, exam preparation, and course instruction. The mission of MedPlug is to introduce people of color to the medical field in an accessible and affordable virtual format. This company began as a certification hub for aspiring pharmacy technicians, but has potential for growth into other medical trades, such as phlebotomy, billing and insurance, and medical assistance.
MedPlug has a mission to promote education and increase earning potential within the community while also introducing people of color to the medical field. Through its contributions, MedPlug aims to make quality and affordable healthcare more accessible to people of color.
